LPF provides each entrepreneur with a mentor, a true partner, dedicated to making their startup a success. All our affiliated mentors are seasoned entrepreneurs. They are experienced in business development and innovation journey. They are on a mission to help you reach each milestone in the most efficient way and avoid making fatal mistakes.
LPF acts as a non-for-profit platform of services supporting the entrepreneur-mentor partnership. The mentor’s role is to define the right sequence of actions to develop the project, and to identify the best set of resources to leverage at each stage, from LPF and the ecosystem.
We believe that the success of startups depends heavily on the quality of their human and business environment. This is why we bet on quality mentoring and put it at the heart of our ecosystem. Together, we are shaping unique entrepreneurial ventures!
Denis Lacour is a Self-taught entrepreneur, having successfully founded and developed many companies in the field of advertising and digital.Over 40 years' experience in advertising production, covering marketing, technology, digital, finance, acquisition, business development and project management.
Reason for co-founding lpf
The aim was to encourage and help young Mauritians to create startups with international aims in Mauritius through an incubator as seen in Europe. The idea was also to make Mauritius known on the innovation map. Initially the project was studied in the form of a public private partnership to finally be launched with private funds. The state of Mauritius helping startups through the MRIC NSIS scheme.
