For several months, La Plage Factory has consistently hosted monthly community gatherings, uniting startups, mentors, ecosystem participants, and friends. These gatherings provide a platform for networking, idea-sharing, and community-building. This month's event was no exception, as our community convened under the beautiful, serene backdrop of Coworking Port Louis.

We were delighted to welcome new founders for our upcoming acceleration and incubation programs. Priya Premika Veera-Ramsurrun and Najen Naidoo, founders of My Exclusive Books and Smart Communities, respectively, presented their ventures to the community.

๐Ÿ“š My Exclusive Books: a platform that provides curated content for children aged 6-11, featuring stories of inspiring individuals who have made significant impacts worldwide, with the goal of inspiring children to believe in their ability to shape the world.
๐Ÿก Smart Communities: a 3-in-1 digital community platform designed to unite youth community leaders, fostering community engagement, supporting service delivery, boosting local businesses, and promoting safety.

Special Guest Spotlight
We had the privilege of hosting Sundaresen Rungasamy, Head of Trade and Investment for the Pan African Chamber of Commerce (PACC). The PACCC is an independent, non-profit organization that serves Africa's business by promoting public policies that will foster continental economic integration, competitiveness, and sustainable growth. He comes back to Mauritius with a rich cultural and professional background spanning 30 years outside Africa that he wants to parlay into building partnerships in art across the African continent.
